Chess

Chess is a two-player, two-dimensional abstract strategy board game played on a 64-square checkered board where each player controls 16 pieces of different types. The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent’s king, placing it under a direct attack with no possibility of escape. Players move their pieces according to unique rules, with each turn consisting of moving one piece to capture opponent’s pieces or position for a checkmate.
